Never waste a good crisis

2019-06-10 I hosted the STOSO Congress for Psychology Students on May 7, 2019 in Groningen. We studied different types of crises varying from warzone situations to personal crises. In this article I will describe how are habits are a blessing and a curse, how they are tested in crisis situations and how we can use the crisis to become more creative and better equipped to handle the next crisis. Because smaller and bigger once will occur as part of changes we go through. In the words of Winston Churchill: ‘Never let a good crisis go to waste.’

No guts, no glory!

2019-04-23 “No guts, no glory!” True, but don’t make the mistake thinking that only daredevils or highly deviant people have the guts to do something out of the ordinary. For those type of people, taking risks is well within their comfort zone. They might very well lack the guts to sit still and stay within the lane of the mundane.
